Welcome to Swift Waters Elementary School!
Welcome to Swift Waters Elementary School!
As we begin our third year together as a school community, I am filled with pride as I reflect on how far we have come. Over the past three years, we have worked collectively to build a strong identity rooted in belonging, inclusion, and connection. At Swift Waters, we are committed to ensuring that every student feels welcomed, valued, and accepted for who they are. We believe that when students have a true sense of belonging, they are empowered to thrive both academically and personally.
Our work is guided by our Otter Credo:
"We live by respect, courage and truth,
Honesty guides us in all that we do.
We build our community, making futures bright,
With kindness and care we do what's right.
Together as Otters, we shine our light."
These words are more than a poem; they represent the values we strive to demonstrate every day through our actions, relationships, and learning experiences. Respect, courage, truth, honesty, kindness, and community are at the heart of everything we do.
We take great pride in the rich diversity of our school and in our commitment to creating an inclusive environment where all learners can succeed. We celebrate the unique strengths, perspectives, and experiences that each member of our community brings and work hard to ensure that every child sees themselves reflected, represented, and supported in our school.
At Swift Waters Elementary, we encourage one another to achieve our personal best in all aspects of school life. Whether in the classroom, on the playground, through extracurricular activities, or in service to others, we strive to foster confidence, perseverance, and a love of learning. Together, we create a positive and caring environment where students are challenged to grow, supported to take risks, and inspired to reach their full potential.
Thank you for being part of the Swift Waters community. We look forward to another year of learning, growth, and success as we continue to shine our light together.
Sincerely,
Sarah Stone
